Michelle Holtz
Founder & CEO - Breathe, Inc.
Michelle Holtz is a Milwaukee native with over 28 years of experience as a Wisconsin Certified Social Worker. With a Bachelor’s in Social Work and a Business minor from UW-Whitewater, Michelle has spent the last 18 years specializing in Hospice and Oncology, championing crisis intervention and patient advocacy.
Her nonprofit, Breathe, Inc., is a beacon of hope for those impacted by cancer, offering financial aid, emotional support, and critical resources. Beyond her impactful work, Michelle is an avid traveler, hiker, and devoted family woman, inspiring others with her passion for life and dedication to making a difference.
Shelley Schaitel
Owner - Sparkling Survivor LLC
Shelley Schaitel is an oncology-certified RN with a bachelor’s degree. She has worked in 15 different oncology clinics across Southern Wisconsin for 14 years.
During that time, Shelley was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer. She discovered that she carry a genetic mutation (BRCA1) that caused her to be at high risk for multiple cancers, including breast, ovarian, uterine, pancreatic, and melanoma.
After her experience with cancer, Shelley found her level of understanding and compassion for my oncology patients to be above and beyond what she thought would be possible. Shelley has clinical knowledge, but more importantly, personal experience to support those during this new and confusing chapter of life. Few doctors, surgeons, or nurses have the actual cancer experience to share with their patients.
Shelley's goal is to remove the stigma and negativity associated with cancer by guiding you toward a POSITIVE perception. In essence, inspiring light in total darkness. Shelley wants to encourage you to TELL CANCER WHO’S BOSS!
